| NEIC has, in it's product range, an automatic machine, purpose built for the Air Filtration Industry. The machine which utilises novel mechanisms developed by NEIC, was designed primarily for the production of non- standard card frames used in the manufactures of air filters. The unit can however produce any size of "U" section card filter frame from 60mm x 60mm upwards. |

A version of the machine is also available to produce "L" section frames in either a single strip per side, or four strip per side, form with automatic compensation for inner and outer frame sizes. Variable widths and heights are easily pre-programmed via pre-set switches or key pad. Batch quantity is selected in the same way. Set up time for thickness and card width is also minimised by the use of self-centring adjustments. The machine automatically takes material from a horizontally mounted reel, produces two longitudinal scores in the material for the fold lines, produces the cuts and creases for the corners, cuts the end tab profile and cuts the filter frame to the finished length. The quality and accuracy of the finished frames have been described as exceptional and material wastage is minimal. Typically, a complete frame is produced in 3-4 seconds indicating an average shift output of around 8-9000 frames.
